Hailing from Birmingham but having lived in London since the age of 16, CHLOE is yet another talented graduate of The Brit School with a promising future.

The new song highlights the power of her vocal with a brooding but epic soundscape of a production to match.

Always our favourite member of THE SATURDAYS, VANESSA WHITE is the first of the girls to drop an official solo single.

Highlighting a funky 90's flavoured R&B vibe (think AALIYAH, BRANDY etc.) a genre she personally loves and a million miles away from the pop sound of the group , 'Don't Wanna Be Your Lover' is written by Tre Jean-Marie (who's credits include tracks from NELLY, MNEK, JASON DERULO and more) and comes complete with hot new visuals.

The Queen of UK cool returns with a brand new single and video.

WHINNIE WILLIAMS is back with a slightly revised look and sound too.

Over the years the artist formally known as SUNDAY GIRL (and very occassionally by her real name, Jade) has taken on a varierty of artistic guises and musical styles. She also has a rather nifty sideline as a model and DJ but it's always the music that comes first.

We loved her from the 60's flavoured tracks on her previous two mixtapes and her 2014 EP 'Bad Girl' but now she's moved to another decade.

With 'Too Strong' we get a new 70's vibes. The track itself has a sultry, southern soul sound, complete with old school samples (produced by top knob twiddlers FUTURE CUT) and the video completes the theme with the typically retro WHINNIE portraying the daughter of an ageing ELVIS

New Music: JESSICA MORGAN (@ohjessicamorgan) - I Am Mine

I Am Mine

Her name may be unfamiliar to some but JESSICA MORGAN has been working in the music world for a few years now. Both as a performer and a songwriter for herself and other artists (including ALEXANDRA BURKE).

Previously known by her stage persona SPARK, the Liverpool born, East London bred singer has already toured with the likes of former label mate MARINA & THE DIAMONDS and JANELLE MONAE.

After a seemingly hectic few years JESSICA took time out but is now back and, returning to her own name, has been quietly working on new material.

'I am mine' is the first of several songs to be made available to stream online over the coming weeks. The track marks a change in style to a much more reflective and deeply personal sound.

She says she wrote it on a train between Victoria and Clapham Junction, that's a lot of emotion for a journey of 6-8 minutes!

New Music: JULIET HUDSON (@JulietHudson) - Wonder

Her name maybe new to you but JULIET HUDSON is no stranger to the music world. She's shared the stage providing backing vocals for JLS on their arena tour as well as acts on both X Factor & The Voice but now she's ready to take centre stage herself.

'Wonder' is a stomping, uptempo pop dance tune produced by Levi Lennox and co-written by Shae Jacobs (who collectively have worked with Krept and Konan, Emeli Sandé, Teyana Taylor, Chris Brown, Zayn Malik and more) and is the first track to be taken from a forthcoming independently released EP entitled 'Lucid'.

'Wonder' is available from October 23rd and the EP 'Lucid' is released on November 4th

New Music: ANNE-MARIE (@AnneMarieIam) - Boy

When you're on a roll, you're on a roll and seemingly there's no stopping ANNE-MARIE at the moment.

Not only is she currently a main featured vocalist with RUDIMENTAL both on their recent number one album and as a major part their live shows for the past couple of years, she has now also somehow managed to find time to get in the studio and produce her own music.

'Boy' is her latest offering from the Essex girl, following hot on the heels of 'Do It Right' which made it's debut less than a week ago and the 'Karate' EP which was released a few months ago.

Her sound is described as an 'R&B, hip-hop and pop fusion' and the new track which totally fits that bill was given the accolade of 'Hottest record in the world' on ANNIE MAC's BBC RADIO 1 show last night.

Creating your debut music video is always a challenge but for new artist FLORIEME it was about more than just the music

'Lady Sings The Blues' is the first track to be taken from recently released EP 'Between The Lines' and is a laid back, neo-soul track from the London based singer/songwriter.

However, this is not the full story.

Having suffered from the medical condition alopecia for two year it meant that FLORIEME had, over time, been losing some of her hair. She then took the remarkable decision to actually shave off her remaining hair in the clip.

What FLORIEME created is possibly one of the bravest things you will ever see in a music video.

She hopes that it will raise awareness of the disease as well inspiring other men and women with body image issues.

She has also now become a campaigner in an effort to raise awareness of the autoimmune disease and has launched a justgiving page for donations to Alopecia UK

New Video: MICKEY TAELOR (@MickeyTaelor) - “HYFR"

The name may not be instantly familiar but L.A R&B singer/songwriter MICKEY TAELOR has been on the music scene for the last 5 years quietly building a name for herself stateside and preparing to take on the world.

Citing influences as diverse as Amy Winehouse, Lauryn Hill, Billie Holiday and Eyrkah Badu, Mickey has developed a soulful R&B sound all of her own with it's roots also in that of reggae & hip hop culture.

Having recently released her latest EP 'HiiGrade Vol. 2' the singer has taken time out to create a unique video for one of it's biggest and most popular tracks.

The unique clip for 'HYFR' has been created in the style of a snapchat video, probably a first to be made this way.

"With the HyFR video I wanted my friends, fans, and family to view what life has been like for myself and my team", says Mickey. "Snapchat is such a clever and smart tool to communicate. I use it often to keep in touch with those while life gets crazy. So when the idea came about to shoot a Snapchat themed visual, we KNEW HYFR was the perfect sound to try it out. It's never been done before, so hey! Why not? And now, we will have made history, haha"

New Video: ALICE ELLA (@alice_ella_) - Summer Sun

'Summer Sun' is the debut release from singer/songwriter ALICE ELLA.

Hailing from Horsham, West Sussex and now based in London, Alice has been working hard on building a career which has already taken many twists and turns, from writing and featuring on a DJ IRONIK EP to supporting JESSIE J in concert. She was also seen being surprised while performing by EMELI SANDE in a Mastercard TV ad campaign.

But it is her own career that has always been at the forefront of her mind and at last we get to hear & see her very first official output.

An autobiographical song (co-written by SEYE ADELEKAN who has previously worked with PALOMA FAITH & DAMON ALBARN), it is a mixture of jazz, soul and pop fused together to create something original, which is also what we get from this exquisite video directed by OLAN COLLARDY.

The single was recently launched with an exclusive gig in Mayfair, where Alice also performed a number of other new tracks all of which showed both her songwriting and star potential.

New Video: LORELEI CARLSON (@LoreleiCarlson) - Open Your Eyes

Our new discovery of the week is L.A based singer/songwriter LORELEI CARLSON

As the daughter of diplomat parents, LORELEI grew up in a variety of countries from Australia to Switzerland to across South America, all of which have been influencial in creating a uniqueness to her sound.

Her latest release is 'Open Your Eyes' which is taken from her 2014 independantly released EP 'Dopamine'. The set also includes 4 other original tracks plus a partcularly daring cover of NIRVANA's 'Rape Me'

Like many of the tracks on Miss CARLSON's EP, the single was co-written with long term collaborator David Gielan and has a hypnotic, almost trip-hop sound (think MASSIVE ATTACK/PORTISHEAD) that is matched by her sublime vocal, pitched somewhere between SIA and LANA DEL RAY.

The video for the track has just been released and the beautifully created clip, full of stunning B&W visuals, is co-directed by LORELEI herself with Kikin Bartolo.

New Music: PHONAT feat JOLIE & THE KEY - Fire (@phonat @JolieAndTheKey)

Recent tracks from the likes of KYGO & MAJOR LAZOR have marked a trend towards downtempo electronic dance music becoming huge hits.

Soon to join that list is Italian producer Michele Balduzzi aka PHONAT.

The mysterious, seven foot tall, Tuscany born creative has been living and working in London for a few years and count the likes of Skrillex as a fan.

His brand new single 'Fire' is about to be released.
With it's bumping bassline, the track also features impressive vocals from new duo JOLIE & THE KEY.

The track was recently debuted by ANNIE MAC on RADIO 1 live from Ibiza and has already got attention from BILLBOARD.

JOLIE & THE KEY, also from Italy, are Jade Gallotta & Victor Franco who came together in 2012. Their covers of hits by the likes of Katy Perry, Hozier, David Guetta,Clean Bandit and more have become popular on Youtube & Soundcloud. More recently the duo have been working on their own material in London with an EP due soon.
